2025 Rates FAQs

Where can I find the new rate calculator?
You can access the calculator anytime through this link. Once you click the link, you will be prompted to set up a username and password.
Please note: You can only find the new calculator using the link above. We will no longer share Excel versions of the calculator.
How much higher are the new rates?
HomeSafe Alliance uses dynamic pricing. This means the new rate increase varies based on mileage, tonnage, geographic location(s), and time of year. For specific pricing, please consult the calculator.
When are the new rates effective?
The new rates are effective June 15, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
What task orders are eligible for new rates?
All task orders loading on or after June 15 (actual load date) will receive compensation under the new pricing structure.
For task orders loading before June 15, compensation will be under the previous pricing structure. Consult your regional manager if you need additional guidance.
Do the rate increases apply to international moves?
The rate increases only apply to domestic moves. International pricing will be shared with the supply chain at a later date.
Does the new rate calculator provide actual payout information?
This pricing calculator is for estimation purposes only on individual shipments picking up at residence. Actual reimbursement will be based on the rates reflected in HomeSafe Connect.
What compensation schedules are applied?
The compensation shown in the new calculator represents true net dollars, and no further compensation or deductions are applied.
What changes are on this rate calculator compared to the former Excel version?
- You must enter the full Zip 5 into the new calculator (as opposed to Zip 3).
- Service areas identified at origin and destination at the top of the new rate calculator indicate pricing structure by market. If the exact city and state of your pickup location are not reflected above, it may be that the market is covered within that service area.
- You can only find the new calculator online. We will no longer share Excel versions of the calculator. This also means there will be no Microsoft compatibility issues with the new calculator. If you encounter any other technical issues, contact your regional manager for assistance.
How is mileage calculated under the new rate calculator?
Mileage is calculated Zip 3 to Zip 3.
Why is the calculation not computing in the new rate calculator?
It may be that you have entered the wrong Zip or that there has not been historical data for moves within that lane over the last three years. If you need additional assistance, contact your regional manager.
How is Storage-in-Transit (SIT) revenue calculated?
Destination services are based on the rates at the time of pickup. This is subject to change based on when the shipment clears from SIT. Actual pricing will be reflected in the cost tables within the HomeSafe Connect CRM.
